He Who Deserves
First and foremost, before we get into all the exciting stuff, it is important that we define the type of man this blog will be focusing on. For clarification, “he” in theonehewants does not refer to every man out there. We are referring to a selected few, the ones women refer to as a “Good Man.”
On both ends of the spectrum, there are individuals who are in it for all the wrong reasons or may have emotional instabilities that hinder the relationship growth process or may even compromise ones wellbeing. Sometimes physical attraction and loneliness can distort our perception on what we may be attracted to vs what suits us best. This is why so many people ask the question, “Why do I always attract the same type of individual?”
Remember, not everyone is deserving of your time or efforts. If spending time with that “special” someone usually results in you feeling belittled, disrespected, degraded, regretful and demeaning to your self-worth, it’s probably not in your best interest. Set realistic standards and qualities you require and try your best to stick with them as closely as possible. Lower standards only when necessary; your biological clock so to speak shouldn’t be a determining factor because ultimately you face the possibility of ending up unhappy and discontent with the person you settled with. Nonetheless, there are many wonderful people out there worthy and waiting to be acknowledged and cared for. Here are some essential attributes of a deserving man.
- A God Fearing Man: A spiritual man has structure and lives by principles.
- A Protector: He will do everything in your best interest to keep you safe both physically and emotionally
- A Provider: He flexes his mental and physical strength to generate an income to provide for himself and his family.
- Integrity: His word is his bond. What you see is what you get. He is open to change but only when it make him a better individual.
- Strength: He is strong physically, spiritually, emotional and physiologically. He is the foundation from which you stand.
- Courage: He takes a stand for all that is true.
- Wisdom: His decisions are based on experience.
- Knowledge: He is eager to learn and understands its power.
- Love: Always loving God, his soul-mate, true friends, family, and love ones unconditionally.
